Membership Options

Below are two options for membership and the difference between these two models to help you decide which path you want to take.

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is geared towards convenient access, after hour urgent needs and relationship based care for primary care and acute care needs. 

​Functional medicine gets deep into the roots of symptoms and attempts to find the cause in order to find resolution….this is NOT primary care. This is an intense personalized approach to medicine on complicated topics.

The average member uses Direct Primary Care services four times a year. Membership dues are $30/mo for children and $85/mo for adults beginning May 2025. Family max plans available. Signing up a whole family? We often decrease the initial intake fees.

​INSURANCE IS NOT ACCEPTED
The Direct Patient Care (DPC) health care model is an innovative model to reduce consumer costs of primary health care and allow for more quality time with your provider. In working with specialists and imaging/laboratory providers in the community, we have a vast list of referral options at a fraction of the cost typically charged by insurance companies making health care more affordable. You always have the option of working with your insurance company personally for reimbursement or using them for labs and covered prescriptions. Need an affordable alternative? Look at health shares such as Zion Health (ZION currently on hold however for WA State). 

Request a superbill at the time of service to be able to submit a claim to your own insurance plan for reimbursement. 

EXCEPTION: We do accept Medicare Part B Washington only who are NOT eligible for membership.
No billing for Medicare Advantage/HMO or other Medicare Part B for other States so cash rates apply and these patients are eligible for membership.

Process: How to become a patient

By now I’m sure you’ve received the run around from the traditional model. 10 minute appointments, long wait times, can never get in when you really need to be seen and have to end up using urgent care, . . . Or have no insurance so there is fear in the cost of getting health care . . . Or you own or work at a small business without health benefits.

Thrive Direct Health Care may just be what you need and we have many options to help you meet your health care needs and goals. ​

Due to a conflict of interest - Provider Liz is no longer at Thrive Direct Health Care. 

JULY 1, 2025 UPDATE

We are getting closer to being at max capacity. 
As of July 1, 2025 -- new establishing care patients will be required to maintain a membership to continue care. 

With our unique combination of natural and western medicine & our newly renovated 4400 sq ft space — our clinic is filling up fast. We want to maintain long visits and getting our patients in same day or same week. 
In order to do this … 

As of July 1 we are implementing a change in policy for “new” patients establishing care with our providers newly added in the last year. 

For our non-members: 
-We will always provide DOT, sports, pre-employment physicals to non members. 
-We will always provide exemptions and medical cannabis certifications
-We will always take scheduled or normal walk-ins for urgent care or acute/last minute ailments and for problem focused visits. 
-We will allow our weight loss patients on GLPs to not require a membership if micro-dosing. If full dose is needed our 6 month minimum coaching membership will be required. 

CHANGES
NEW patients establishing for ongoing primary care, medication management and chronic disease will be required to do a membership for our providers to manage chronic needs (exception - Medicare B original). 

Consultations can still be provided with recommendations or advice but management will need a membership. 
The above applies for NEW patients only and those scheduled on or after 7/1/2025. 

This will be in effect until at least end of this year.
