Dr. Brianna Wilson, DNP, ARNP, FNP-BC
Dr. Brianna was born and raised in the State of Washington and wouldn't dream of living any where else. She and her family moved to La Conner in 2015 to be apart of a community and not just in a community. She is married and has two incredible young daughters who call her "Dr. Mom" whenever they get ill or injured. You may find them playing or hanging out with mom at work or helping you find your way to the exam room.
She initially was an ICU nurse right out of nursing school at Evergreen in Kirkland for 2 years and then transitioned to Interventional Radiology at Swedish in Seattle, WA at the request of one of the radiologists. Returning again to ICU a few years later -- it was here that she realized the need and access for quality primary care for the prevention of disease through health promotion and she pursued becoming a nurse practitioner. She completed a generic Masters in Nursing at UW Bothell with emphasis in infectious disease and rural health and then immediately entered the Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner track at the University of Washington School of Nursing/Seattle with an emphasis on rural health and pain management. Prior to graduating with her Doctorate, she was hired at the University of Washington Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and was a nocturnist and Teaching Associate for the Acute and Chronic Pain Services managing acute post-operative pain and chronic cancer and non-cancer pain. She held this position for 5 years before moving on to pursue her own dream in small town medicine--in her small town. With her additional and extensive training in pain management she hopes to assist her patients with safe and effective pain multi-modal strategies in an ever growing population of need. She is also certified to prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone) for opioid use disorder.
Dr. Brianna has always wanted to have her own rural practice and be an active member of a rural community. She also knew she never wanted to be stuck in the 10-15 minute rushed appointment slots that the current system provides. Thrive Direct Health Care is an innovative and affordable way of providing heath care to communities and provide quality services when and where it is needed-- through direct care and direct relationships with the provider and the patient.
Dr. Brianna has obtained additional training in functional medicine to be able to provide the most patient centered services possible and she absolutely believes in a shared decision model of selecting and utilizing natural or western medicine approaches to obtain optimal health per the patients wishes. Functional Medicine has opened up a whole other realm of healing and wellness and . . . she was led in this direction by listening to her patients.

Elizabeth “Liz” Price, MSN, ARNP, FNP-BCLiz Price was born in Tampa, Florida, and moved to Washington in 2014. She worked as a Registered Nurse at a large level II trauma center in Tacoma, Washington for close to 7 years, working in both Medical-Surgical units and the Emergency Department. She has two bachelor's degrees from the University of South Florida, in Psychology and Religious Studies, and a Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. Liz joined the practice in 2021 and became the clinic’s Covid expert.
She has always felt like true health is holistic, and is a combination of multiple factors, including physical, mental, and spiritual factors. She has plans to become functional medicine certified in the future and is actively doing additional training. She will work to practice a root cause approach with her patients when applicable, working with them as a team to try to facilitate health as much as possible using both allopathic and natural approaches. |
In her spare time, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband, she also runs, paints, hikes, and travels. She is currently working on opening a satellite location for Thrive Direct Health Care in Kitsap County.

Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, I gained extensive experience as a Registered Nurse in Med/Surg, Ortho, Telemetry, and Maternity care. This diverse background has equipped me with a broad perspective and a wealth of knowledge to better serve my patients. When I’m not working, you’ll find me enjoying life with my husband and our energetic young twins. Diane joined Thrive Direct at the end of 2021 to make a positive health oriented difference in patient lives. She fully supports our mission to provide direct care and incorporate natural medicine in all aspects of health. In 2023 Diane started her training in Functional Medicine to be a functional medicine health coach. She leads our very successful provider assisted weight loss program in coaching these members 2 times a month or more included in our program fees. She has amazing intuition and insight and will help life coach and health coach whatever you may need. Diane is married with adult children that live nearby and 2 grandbabies.

We have other amazing interns from various Washington or out of State online nurse practitioner programs each term of school— hosting 3-4 per term. All are current nurses and have a passion for preventative and primary care. I hope to instill natural minded, patient centered care and proactive primary care as well as provide a functional medicine introduction. They will start your appointments and our providers will complete your appointments. This allows for up to 60 min of direct patient care visits.

April Emanuelson is a Washingtonian thru and thru. After studying pre-med at WWU she traveled extensively and just didn’t find anything like our amazing state! She lives here in La Conner, is a mom of 3, a certified LEAN (Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition) Coach for children and adults and is certified as a Functional Nutrition Coach.
She teaches simple tools that help the busiest of people to make lasting changes for the better in their health. Recently she has become a gut geek, and loves sharing the exciting new discoveries that are helping us understand the most important basis of our health, our digestion! Taylor is from Skagit Valley. She has a Masters degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. She enjoys spending time with her family. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and is also credentialed through the Department of Health as a Mental Health Professional and Child Mental Health Specialist. She works with adults clients and also has specialized experience in working with adolescents struggling with depression, self-harm behaviors, suicidal thoughts and attempts, and working with the LGTBQ community. She believes in the power of healing trauma and the importance of moving forward. She owns Skagit Counseling Center and either her or one of her staff will provide counseling services to you or your family. They see all ages and all areas of mental health needs.
