Dr. Brianna Wilson, DNP, ARNP, FNP-BC
OWNER/FOUNDER/CEO
Dr. Brianna was born and raised in the State of Washington and wouldn't dream of living any where else. She and her family moved to La Conner in 2015 to be apart of a community and not just in a community. She is married and has two incredible young daughters who call her "Dr. Mom" whenever they get ill or injured. You may find them playing or hanging out with mom at work or helping you find your way to the exam room. She is also currently the Chair of the Town of La Conner Emergency Management Commission as a volunteer.
She initially was an ICU nurse right out of nursing school at Evergreen in Kirkland for 2 years and then transitioned to Interventional Radiology at Swedish in Seattle, WA at the request of one of the radiologists. Returning again to ICU a few years later at Swedish, Cherry Hill -- it was here that she realized the need and access for quality primary care for the prevention of disease through health promotion and she pursued becoming a nurse practitioner. She completed a generic Masters in Nursing at UW Bothell with emphasis in infectious disease from a zoology (animal) perspective and rural health and then immediately entered the Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner track at the University of Washington School of Nursing/Seattle with an emphasis on rural health and pain management. Prior to graduating with her Doctorate, she was hired at the University of Washington Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and was a nocturnist and Teaching Associate for the Acute and Chronic Pain Services managing acute post-operative pain and chronic cancer and non-cancer pain. She held this position for 5 years before moving on to pursue her own dream in small town medicine--in her small town. With her additional and extensive training in pain management she hopes to assist her patients with safe and effective pain with multi-modal strategies in an ever growing population of need. She is also certified to prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone) for opioid use disorder.
Dr. Brianna has always wanted to have her own rural practice and be an active member of a rural community. She also knew she never wanted to be stuck in the 10-15 minute rushed appointment slots that the current system provides. Thrive Direct Health Care is an innovative and affordable way of providing heath care to communities and provide quality services when and where it is needed-- through direct care and direct relationships with the provider and the patient. HERE --- you are NOT just a number. YOU matter and are treated as an individual with health unique to your own.
Dr. Brianna has obtained additional training in functional medicine to be able to provide the most patient centered services possible and she absolutely believes in a shared decision model of selecting and utilizing natural or western medicine approaches to obtain optimal health per the patients wishes. Functional Medicine has opened up a whole other realm of healing and wellness and . . . she was led in this direction by listening to her patients.
While Dr Brianna has been full for several years now -- We have many other outstanding providers --with similar viewpoints-- that have joined our team after their preceptorship with us and we can't wait to meet you and help you achieve your health goals. If we can get you off of medications and scratch off chronic diseases in the process we will, but more importantly...we will actually LISTEN and guide you to your wellness.
~ WELCOME to a different kind of health that CARES.

Teodora Foster, MSN, Pending ARNP, FNP-BCHi, I’m Téa Foster, MSN, FNP, a board-eligible Family Nurse Practitioner committed to whole-person, relationship-centered care. I believe wellness begins with feeling seen, heard, and supported — and that true health is built through prevention, connection, and sustainable lifestyle habits.
Prior to completing my Master of Science in Nursing at George Washington University, I spent nearly 10 years as a registered nurse at UW medicine in progressive cardiac and medicine. There, I cared for many individuals who felt overlooked in a fast-paced healthcare system. Those experiences inspired me to become an NP so I could spend more time with patients, address root causes, and empower people with the knowledge and tools they need to take charge of their health. My clinical interests include chronic disease management, metabolic health, diabetes care, and lifestyle-based wellness. I love helping patients create small, meaningful changes that build long-term vitality and improve quality of life. Originally from Nevada, I’ve called Washington home for almost 20 years. I live with my husband, our baby, and our fluffy cat, Millie Mae. I'm grateful to support this community and look forward to partnering with you on your wellness journey. |
When I’m not caring for patients, you’ll find me outdoors — hiking, snowboarding, sailing — or enjoying good food, live music, and time in nature.
Téa joined us at the end of 2025 after her internship as a student with Dr Brianna. She is in person on Tuesday and Fridays and will be adding a virtual day in the New Year!. She can see all ages and all patients with various needs. Sub-specialties:
>Provider Téa is open to patients of all ages for MEMBERSHIP only for primary care/chronic care management and MEDICARE B. All other acute care still welcome.

When I’m not working, my world revolves around my four children. Whether we’re off on an adventure, savoring cozy time at home, or exploring new places together, they are the center of my life. I also love traveling and discovering new cultures- it’s one of the ways I stay curious, inspired, and connected to the world around me.

Hi, I’m Sarah! I was born and raised in beautiful Washington State and now enjoy life in the peaceful community of Lake Cavanaugh. Along the way, I’ve also called North Carolina and Texas home, but no matter where life has taken me, Washington has always had my heart. There’s something deeply grounding about being back where my roots run deep.
In my professional life, I’m deeply passionate about women’s health and urology, with a special interest in holistic, whole-body care. I believe in treating people as whole individuals- not just a collection of symptoms - and I’m dedicated to supporting wellness in a way that honors the mind, body, and spirit. Helping people feel seen, heard, and cared for is what fuels me. I'm grateful for the opportunity to care for you and be part of your wellness journey. Sarah joined us at the end of 2024 after her internship as a student with Dr Brianna. She can see all ages and all patients with various needs. Sub-specialties:

Hey, I’m Sarah. I’m a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to the individualized and root-cause approach to Primary Care that Thrive Direct encompasses. Originally from North Carolina, I began my Master of Science in Nursing degree at Duke University before moving to Washington in 2022. My first visit to the State was in this sweet town of La Conner, which sparked a deep sense of home, making it feel truly serendipitous that it became the beginning of this new chapter.
My nearly ten years of nursing experience in Oncology and High-risk Obstetrics shaped my deep respect for the human body’s complexity and resilience. Bearing witness to both the beginning and end of life on earth has profoundly impacted the way I view health, time, and what it means to live fully. I bring this approach to patient care, focusing not just on helping people live longer, but on supporting them in living more vibrantly. Vowing to do my part in ensuring each of my patients live not just the length of their lives, but the breadth and width of it too. I am especially passionate about the endocrine system and treating conditions related to women’s health and fertility, thyroid disease, and metabolic function. I’m currently completing a Functional Nutrition certification which further emphasizes my approach to care that considers mental health, nutrition, and lifestyle as foundational medicine. Sarah M joined us at the end of 2025 after her internship as a student with Dr Brianna. |
Outside the clinic, you’ll find me hiking around the Pacific Northwest and exploring its beautiful coastline with my fiancé and our two dogs.
She can see all ages and all patients with various needs. Sub-specialties:

STUDENT INTERNS
We have other amazing interns from various Washington or out of State in person or online nurse practitioner programs each term of school— hosting 2-4 per term. All are current nurses and have a passion for preventative and primary care. These interns are under Dr Brianna’s tutelage and she hopes to instill natural minded, patient centered proactive primary care as well as provide a functional medicine introduction to these nurses bridging them into their soon to be new role as a provider. They may start your appointments and our providers will complete your appointments. This allows for up to 60 min of direct patient care visits. The majority of these students/interns have years, sometimes decades in the medical field already and are very experienced clinicians. At any point - should you not wish to see an intern - you need to specifically mention this at scheduling so that we can determine the best place in our schedule. Your appt time will be reduced to allow one of the providers to see you and not an intern.

Kai~Zen Hypnotherapy
Operating as her own privately owned business she is subleasing a consultant room. You may schedule directly with her.
My journey into hypnosis started on a very personal level—I used it to support the birthing of my daughter, and I was in awe of how powerfully it transformed my life during a major career change. That experience lit a fire in me. Hypnosis didn’t just help me—it changed me. That’s when I knew this was my path. This is heart-centered work, and I’m all in. I graduated from the Cascade Hypnosis Center in Bellingham in November 2024, where I refined the skills I now use every day to help others overcome obstacles, reach their goals, and step into their full potential. I live on the Swinomish Reservation in La Conner, WA, with my husband—who is also my business partner—and our wonderful children. We believe deeply in the work we do and the impact it can have on people’s lives.
